Open Source LIMS Update: SENAITE 2.6 is out

SENAITE, the Enterprise grade Free and Open Source Laboratory Management software has today announced a major upgrade, with a raft of changes that will bring the Plone based platform one step closer to Python 3 support.

US Bika Training Workshop

South African National Bioinformatics Institute (SANBI) kicks off Bika Biobank customizations

The South African National Bioinformatics Institute (SANBI) is partnering Bika Lab Systems in customising an Open Source Bika LIMS branch for genomic lab disciplines and biobanking, including the management of sample and data distribution. The current Bika branch for health care laboratories, Bika Health 3.1, which already fulfils clinical subject requirements, is the starting point for this venture. Naralabs will be providing additional capacity.

Naralabs will be presenting Bika Health in Med-e-Tel 2014

Med-e-Tel is an event of the International Society for Telemedicine & eHealth (ISfTeH), The international federation of national associations who represent their country's Telemedicine and eHealth stakeholders. Jordi Puiggené, from Bika partners Naralabs in Barcelona, will be presenting Bika Health, LIMS for health care, in the Open Source Village organised by the Collaborative Care Team in Open Source.
